STV is seeking Engineering Students for our Transportation and Infrastructure division in our New York City office. You will join one of our teams focused on Traffic, Highway/Roadway, Hydraulics/Drainage, Structures, or Planning. The Intern positions will work with senior and junior designers to assist in the completion of project documents for various projects.
Responsibilities
- Work under direction of senior staff
- Preparing drawings and specifications, using MicroStation or Open Roads Designer to design transportation infrastructure
- Format reports and specifications
- Assist in file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scan documents as required
- Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the company’s organizational structure
- Utilizes current company-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments
- Specific activities vary by assignment
Job Requirements
- Candidate will be enrolled in bachelor’s degree program majoring in civil engineering.
