Our mobility concept and user experience team is planning and executing holistic future vehicle concept proposals for the VW Group. The intern will become familiar with learning a hybrid workflow between digital/physical developments which are being brought to life through concept visuals.

Responsibilities

  • Support in creating user journeys, user stories and customer use cases
  • Support the Design team by contributing to active design projects
  • Support presentations for internal ICC and Group Innovation stakeholders
  • Understanding and communicating with concept development and automotive design team
  • Support CAD modeling team with data prep and model build optimized for animation
  • Create 2D and 3D design proposals
  • Translating design proposals in 3D
  • Strong interest / capability in visual animation and story creation

Job Requirements

  • Study Focus: BSc in Transportation Design
  • Inspired to visualize holistic future mobility concepts
  • Self-motivated, flexible individual with high degree of ownership and accountability for results
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams as the technology lead for the domain
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months.
  • Must upload resume and portfolio to be considered

Required Software Skills

  • Photoshop or equivalent digital 2D drawing tool

Desired Software Skills

  • Alias, VRED, Blender, etc.
