Responsibilities

We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineering Interns to join our teams. In this role you will work closely with our software engineers to develop and maintain our software applications. This includes participating in the full software development life cycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.

As an intern, you will be part of AMD's next generation of technology innovations. You will work with diverse and talented teams. Job Requirements

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in software engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following scripting languages C/C++ , Python,  Perl, Java, Javascript, UML or shell.

PLEASE HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Operating systems UNIX/Linux OS.
  • Embedded systems, microcontrollers, and CPU architecture.
  • Databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Cloud computing platforms, such as Azure.
  • Web development frameworks, such as Dango, Rails, or Spring Boot.
  • Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Security technologies, such as OAuth, SSL, or TLS.
  • Debugging, BIOS and firmware.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong passion for technology and software development.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited US University, preferable in Junior or Senior year.
  • Studying Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or Computer Science.
