We are searching for an outstanding Office Project Engineer to join our team. If you have 2 or more years of experience, a passion for construction, and an insane need and desire to be part of building great projects, then please read on!
Responsibilities
- Assisting Project Manager(s) with tasks such as: change events, change orders, RFI's, submittals, tracking materials, maintaining Procore, pay application process, closeout documents, etc. for a specific project.
- Learning and applying DeAngelis Diamond's SOP's, standard operating procedures, to your work.
- Assisting the Project Manager in the office or job site trailer while periodically visiting the job site observing the construction led by the Superintendent.
- Learn how to prepare and run efficient meetings.
- Learn and observe the PM in the monthly project process reports including cost reports updates, PCO, CO, RFIs, submittals, safety, and schedule reports to executive team leaders.
- Assist in estimating change orders, reviewing and understanding the entire process according to the owner contract.
- Become an expert of the submittal, change event, and RFI process through practice and review with the PM.
- Thoroughly understand the scheduling process, attend the scheduling meetings, and observe how to keep others accountable.

- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Box, DocuSign, Textura, Bluebeam, and a willingness to learn AIA contracts.
- Passionate for construction and applying new technologies, concepts, and innovative solutions.
- Recent graduate, or have grown through DD's career path leading to this role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong personal integrity and has the highest ethical standards.
- Able to function in a positive, high-energy, friendly, and collaborative environment.
