If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer l on our Fatigue Aging Management Team based in Cranberry Township, PA.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of engineering tasks in support of fatigue aging management in nuclear power plants
- Structural evaluation of ASME Section III components including stress and fatigue.
- Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS preferred
- Software programming including Visual Studio
Job Requirements
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience with ASME Section III and Section XI criteria preferred
- Experience with FEA and ANSYS/ABAQUS preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and display a strong attention to detail
- Although targeting Grade 12, more advanced grades, will be considered.
