Responsibilities
Day To Day Of The Role
- Provide engineering support for various production areas.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies to increase operational efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct time studies and process analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Utilize lean principles and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard work procedures and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions to address production issues.
- Lead and facilitate process improvement projects.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in industrial engineering to ensure Winnebago Motorhome remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders on process improvement initiatives and progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in budget planning and cost control initiatives.
- Provide support for new product development and introduction to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, with additional on the job experience desired.
- Manufacturing with lean principles.
- Microsoft Office / Excel math modeling.
