We currently have an opening in our Boston, MA office for an Entry Level Structural Engineer in our Transportation & Infrastructure division. The Structural Engineer will collaborate with and work with a team of engineers designing and producing a variety of road, rail, and transit design projects, assisting in developing plans, specifications, reports, and supporting of field inspection efforts
Responsibilities
- Basic design calculations for new and existing bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other structures related to transportation
- Perform bridge calculations and bridge load ratings
- Creating construction documents, including drawings and specifications
- Other design and project management opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of structural design experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work on a team and communicate with clients
