Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for engineering design and modification activities related to electrical & electronic circuits, systems, and equipment.
- Conducts engineering design under supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
- Work and coordinate with multidiscipline engineering teams including civil, structural, and mechanical engineers.
- Ensure that designs following established project quality procedures and that required quality control reviews and checks are completed and documented.
- Surveying and evaluation of existing conditions to formulate a fully coordinated scope of work within code compliant electrical designs.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or in another related field + none or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office preferred.
- EIT/FE certification (or in progress) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
