Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for assigned bridge engineering tasks
- Assist in the preparation of design reports
- Perform geometric design and other design tasks for bridge projects
- Write reports and analyze load ratings of bridges and culverts to assess bridge infrastructure
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or the ability to obtain the degree within nine months of hire date
The ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following:
- EIT strongly preferred
- Designing/Drafting software (MicroStation preferred)
- Transportation projects experience (specifically bridgework) and/or relevant coursework
- MS Office Suite software
- Effectively communicating both verbally and written with clients and colleagues
- Collaborating in a team environment
- Prioritizing and balancing multiple commitments
- Bridge design tasks
