KCI Technologies is hiring motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of civil, environmental, and construction engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and monitor project progress.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform calculations and analyses to support project designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Support the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- EIT certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or co-op experience in the civil, environmental, or construction industry.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of sustainable design and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required. Appropriate professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 0-2 year's experience.
